About NeverDies
NeverDies is a public wall where anyone can pin a short note for $1. Notes never expire, can't be edited, and can't be bought off the wall. The first 100 notes are free.
How it works
- Write a note of up to 140 characters, with an optional signature and link, and pick how it looks.
- Pay $1, once, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies. The first 100 Founding Notes are free.
- It goes up once it is reviewed. It gets the next number and a fixed place on a spiral that grows outward from No. 1, so the oldest notes sit at the center.
How "forever" works
A note stays on the wall for as long as NeverDies operates, unless it breaks the Rules or the law. Every night, every live note is copied to a free public archive at archive.neverdies.app, with a weekly copy at the Internet Archive. If NeverDies ever stops, the archive is how the notes live on. Questions
What can a note say?
Personal messages, memories, memorials, love notes, jokes, opinions and honest promotion are all welcome. Hate, harassment, private information, sexual content, scams and spam are not. Every note is reviewed before it appears. See the Rules.
Can I edit or delete my note?
No. A note is permanent once it is live. It can only be hidden if it breaks the rules or the law, and its number then stays on the wall as a blank tombstone.
Do I need an account?
No. You write the note, pay if it's past the first 100, and it appears once it is approved.
Is a note property?
No. A note is a license to show your words on the wall. Notes and numbers can't be sold or transferred.
Can I get a refund?
A paid note that moderation rejects is refunded automatically. A live note is not refunded. The details are in the Terms.
